[ENTRY_the-experiental-engineer] 2025-04-05
I may never wear all the shoes I imagine, yet I shape them for others to journey far.

Mr. Dancel, may I ask you a question?

I know I can't live all the lives I imagine, or walk in every pair of shoes.

If I can't experience them myself, can I still design dreams for others?

Child, I've crafted dreams all my life.
Do you know how many lives I've truly lived through these dreams? None! Not a single one!

Many enter these dreams to play—to laugh, to weep, to find catharsis.
To feel what it's like to become someone else, if only briefly.
To become the hero who saves a kingdom, the wanderer who explores distant stars,
the brave soul who conquers fears we cannot face in our own lives.

I design them!

I create experiences—dreams that speak to our deepest human values,
spaces that invite you to discover who you could be.

I am an experiential engineer, and so, my dear child, can you!

Yes!

But remember this.

Experiences aren't merely adventures to conquer, nor worlds to master—
they are dreams that awaken the deepest truths within us.

Experiences are beautiful dreams—
and an experiential engineer brings those dreams to life, even if only for a moment.
